What is Dysport?

Dysport® is a brand name for a type of botulinum toxin type A, just like Botox®. It is used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines), as well as other facial wrinkles.

What to Expect

Immediately After Treatment

1. Avoid Touching or Rubbing: Refrain from touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours to prevent the Dysport from spreading to unintended muscles.
2. Avoid Vigorous Exercise: Intense physical activity within 24 hours of your Dysport treatment can increase blood flow and cause the Dysport to spread to unintended areas and can exacerbate any minor swelling or bruising that may occur.
3. Stay Upright: Remain in an upright position for the first 4 hours following your treatment. Avoid lying down or bending over during this period.

When will I see results?

It can take up to 2 weeks for the full results to become evident. This allows the Dysport to settle completely and achieve the desired smoothness in the treated areas.
